Big Wild (aka Jackson Stell) releases the Superdream (Remixes) EP, tapping a stable of genre-bending producers. Featuring a collection of fan-favorites spun into new sounds, the artists on board range from GRAMMY award winning producer, Alex Metric, to the likes of Crooked Colours, pluko and GG Magree.
The remix EP delivers fresh takes on the original works from Big Wild’s critically acclaimed debut album, Superdream, released this past February via Counter Records. The album has received high praise from NPR and Billboard, amassing over 10 million streams on Spotify alone. Superdream finds Big Wild expanding his world of sound as he crafts hills and valleys of increasingly lush production, and for the first time in his career, he’s the voice guiding the listener on their musical journey. The remix EP presents the original tracks in a new light, and in turn highlights these shimmering vocal & production elements.

Big Wild (aka Jackson Stell) unveils the colorful new music video for “City of Sound”, the lead single from his debut album ‘Superdream’.
Directed by Tim Fox, whose portfolio includes projects for the likes of Sigma, Fatboy Slim and Om Unit, the cleverly-cut visual for “City of Sound” stars twin actors Jonathan and Edward Saxby, as they bring the vibrant energy of the track to life.
Stell discerns: We all face creative blocks and inner struggles while making art. Overcoming them is usually a matter of getting back in touch with your voice and that's what “City of Sound” is all about.
The video illustrates this internal conflict, as the twins multiply, initially appearing at odds with one another. Yet, over the course of the track, they eventually find harmony and unity, investing their energy & efforts in the same direction, so to speak, thus serving as a metaphor for the creative process, as Stell astutely perceives.

Big Wild (aka Jackson Stell) delivers his long-awaited debut album: ‘Superdream’.
Emblematic of his newfound voice & sound as he steps behind the microphone for the first time, it’s an electronic triumph that finds Stell at his absolute best serving as the primary vocalist on the album. Alongside Stell are fittingly excellent appearances from Rationale (London, UK) and iDA HAWK (Brooklyn, US).

Big Wild announces his debut album ‘Superdream’, scheduled for release February 1, 2019! Jackson Stell, aka Big Wild, pushed his boundaries both personally & artistically with this project, explaining that “the album was inspired by a need to create music that was a greater reflection of who I am now, [which] led me to feature my voice and songwriting as the main focus for the first time ever. I wanted to create a personal record that people could relate to using my own life experiences. When I listen to Superdream, it feels more like me than any of my other music.”
In conjunction, the first two singles, “Joypunks” & “Maker” have just been released. This is just a glimpse of what’s to come.

I'm very excited to present “Ascension", an audio/visual collaboration between me and Foreign Family! As I was producing the track, I was surprised at how dark and intense the music was becoming. It became clear that a place in my head that I don't normally tap for creativity was expressing itself and it was going to take more than music to convey a message. By collaborating with Foreign Family Collective and adding visuals, “Ascension" was given the meaning it needed all along. I hope you enjoy!
